Edwardsville, Ill. – A St. Louis man faces 14 felony charges - including driving under the influence - in a wrong way crash that killed three people near Edwardsville early Thursday. A Madison County judge set bond at $1 million for Newton Keene, 46, who already has six convictions for drunken driving.

Police said Keene was driving north in the southbound lanes of Illinois Route 255 and collided with the victims' oncoming car.

Tawanda Jackson, 32, died in the wreck with her 9-year-old son Arnold and friend Jon Moss.

Jackson's 11-year-old daughter Takia is being treated in a hospital, as is Keane.

Jackson recently moved with her children from St. Louis to Murfreesboro, Tenn. for a job transfer. They were returning for the funeral of Jackson's grandmother.
