Fenton, MO – A 4-year-old girl from Louisiana, Missouri has been found after being
snatched from the front yard of her home and then missing for more than 24 hours.

St. Louis County Police say Alisa Maier was found late Tuesday in the St. Louis suburb of Fenton.

Police say the girl was found behind a car wash near the intersection of Gravois and 141 in Fenton. She didn't have any visible injuries.

Police investigators are still trying to determine how the little girl got there. St. Louis County Police Chief Timothy Fitch says two witnesses say Alisa get out of a dark-colored four-door sedan with two missing hubcabs.

Descriptions of the man who took Maier describe him as short white male in his early 30's with dark hair and dark-colored skin.

Maier was admitted to Cardinal Glennon Hospital for additional care after meeting with family.
