Joshua Johnson will host 1A.

As we say a fond farewell to Diane Rehm we also welcome the new program 1A to the St. Louis Public Radio airwaves, airing Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Hosted by Joshua Johnson, 1A aspires to be the most important daily conversation about the issues of our time. The show will take a deep and unflinching look at America, bringing context and insight to stories unfolding across the country and the world. 1A will explore important issues such as policy, politics, and technology, while also delving into lighter subjects such as pop culture, sports and humor.

The producers are excited to hear what listeners think as the program gets started in January. Send email to 1a@wamu.org, and join the conversation on Facebook and Twitter at @1A. If you want to share feedback with 1A's programming team, email contact1A@wamu.org or call 202-885-1234.
