Bridgeton police searching for missing toddler

Police in Bridgeton, Mo., have issued a endangered missing person advisory for a toddler taken from a hotel room in the city on Sunday.

Police say the mother of 3-year-old Brooklyn Hunter returned to her room at the America’s Best Value Inn at 3655 Pennridge Rd. in Bridgeton on Sunday night to find that both her daughter and Albert Hunter, who police believe is the mother’s boyfriend, were both gone.

Police say Brooklyn’s mother has had contact with Albert Hunter since Sunday, but called them last night when she began to suspect he was not bringing the child back. It’s not clear whether Brooklyn and Albert are related.

Brooklyn Hunter is a three year old white female with blond hair, brown eyes and a fair complexion. She was last seen wearing a white tank top with pink dots and denim shorts.

Albert Hunter is a 43-year-old black male, 6 feet 6 inches tall, who weighs 215 pounds. He has a trident tattoo on the right side of his face.

Police say Albert Hunter has connections to Illinois, Florida and New Mexico.
