AP – A judge ordered Mack's release on Tuesday. Mack claims the killing was an accident, and the Illinois Supreme Court ordered him removed from death row in 1995. He then received a life sentence but a state appeals court ordered him released pending a court hearing next month. Mack's attorney argues that he has satisfied his sentence.
