For your daily dose of cute, with quite a bit of area pride thrown in, we give you eleven-year-old Pearl Dailey's winning holiday card design.

Images of St. Louis standbys like the Gateway Arch, Ted Drewes Frozen Custard, Gus' Pretzels, the Soulard Farmer's Market and the St. Louis Zoo are featured.

The winner of the annualHoliday Card Design Contest attends Froebel Literacy Academy and her design will be featured on all of St. Louis Mayor Francis Slay's holiday cards. 

According to a press release from Slay's office, the winner and finalists will attend an awards ceremony and reception in the Mayor’s Office at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 16.  Mayor Slay will present each student with a certificate of achievement and a special gift from local businesses.

The top ten entries from this year are featured on a poster at St. Louis' city hall. Last year's top ten entries can be found here.
