Metropolis, Ill., basks in its Superman connection

Metropolis, Ill. – The opening tomorrow (Wednesday) of the new Superman movie will bring fresh attention to the fictional city of Metropolis, but also to its real counterpart.

In the comics and movies, Metropolis is a city that never sleeps. But as KWMUs Tom Weber reports, the Ohio River town of the same name is really more like Smallville, the sleepy town where Superman grew up.
