Blues right-winger David Perron, being introduced here at the Blues' home opener on Oct. 8th, will return to the line-up on Saturday after missing 97 games with post-concussion syndrome.

After 13 months and 97 games, David Perron is ready to lace up the skates once again.

The St. Louis Blues announced today that Perron, the 23-year-old right-winger, will be on the ice when the Blues take on their division rival Chicago Blackhawks on Saturday. Perron suffered a concussion on Nov. 4, 2010 after being  hit by Joe Thornton of the San Jose Sharks and hasn't played since.

Perron was first cleared for physical activity on Sept. 26, and began full-contact workouts on Nov. 19.

Before the hit, Perron had scored five goals in 10 games. He's got 53 goals and 131 points in 135 NHL games.

The Blues play the Colorado Avalanche tonight in Denver.
