In  2007, Jessica, 18, and Kelli, 13, Uhl, formerly of Collinsville, Ill. were killed when their vehicle was struck by an Illinois State Police vehicle traveling at an estimated 126 miles per hour down Interstate 64.

Today, a resolution approved in the Illinois House of Representatives names a stretch of I-64 after the sisters.

The resolution states that the section of I-64 between Exit 19A at Illinois Route 158 and Exit 23 at Illinois Route 4, be renamed the Jessica and Kelli Uhl Memorial Highway.
