St. Louis City Hall.

The three candidates for the Democratic nomination for St. Louis mayor will take part in a one-hour town hall forum today.

St. Louis Public Radio will air the forum, which is the second gathering of the candidates ahead of the March 5th primary election.

In liberal territory like St. Louis, the winner of the Democratic primary in March immediately becomes the presumptive favorite to win the general election on April 2nd.

The mayoral forum will be broadcast 11 a.m. St. Louis on the Air. It will include three candidates seeking the Democratic nomination for St. Louis mayor - incumbent Mayor Francis Slay, Aldermanic president Lewis Reed, and former St. Louis Alderman Jimmie Matthews.

St. Louis on the Air host Don Marsh will serve as the forum's moderator. During the broadcast, St. Louis Public Radio will also host a live online chat, open to the public, at www.stlpublicradio.org.

Seating will be available to the public on a first-come, first-served basis and there will not be any overflow seating or standing room available.
