In our weekly "Behind the Headlines" segment, St. Louis on the Air host Don Marsh discussed St. Louis Public Radio reporter Rachel Lippmann's recent return to the office after time spent away on a fellowship to Europe.

Lippmann was recently on an RTNDF/RIAS German-American Journalism Exchange.  For two weeks, she traveled to Berlin, Dresden, Prague and Brussels. On the program, she shared what she learned about how those governments work and about how refugees are being integrated into those countries.

She also discussed updates on her beat since returning.
