Both savory and sweet restaurants make appearances on this month’s Sauce Magazine hit list.
On Wednesday’s St. Louis on the Air, Sauce Magazine Executive Editor Meera Nagarajan explained what made these eateries stand out.
Two restaurants on this month’s hit list are in St. Charles County. Nagarajan said restaurateurs are becoming more diverse in smaller cities outside St. Louis — something the New York Times has noted is part of a national trend.
“You're seeing more and more people moving to the suburbs because there's just opportunities there and less competition,” she said.
