NORMANDY, Mo. –
Parents of students at a St. Louis-area Catholic school are being notified after a seventh-grader brought a
gun to school.
The gun was inoperable, but still created concerns at St. Ann Catholic School on Wednesday. The principal and pastor sent letters to parents saying several students told a teacher about the gun.
KSDK-TV reports the school contacted police, the gun was taken away, and the student was removed.
The school is for students in kindergarten through eighth grade.
