Amendment 3 Deals With Gas, Sales Taxes for MO Roads
Missourians will decide next month whether they want to change the state's Constitution.
Amendment Three would require gas tax and the sales tax money on cars to only be used for roads.
Supporters say it's only fair that those taxes pay for roads and not something else in state government.
But opponents worry the move could affect funding for things like schools.
KWMU's Tom Weber prepared this report.
