St. Louis, Mo. – The Missouri Attorney General's office is suing the owners of a Fenton dog kennel for falsely telling customers the puppies for sale were registered with the American Kennel Club.

Frank and Karen Wilson already face animal abuse charges; the state raided the Guys N-Dolls Kennel last year and seized 90 dogs in poor living conditions.

Many of those dogs went up for adoption this week at the Humane Society of Missouri.

The lawsuit, filed yesterday, seeks compensation for people who bought puppies and were told they were certified.

Note: The Humane Society will host an adoption preview from noon to 7 p.m. today at its adoption center at 1201 Macklind Avenue in St. Louis.
