ST. LOUIS – Three people are hospitalized after an industrial explosion in Jefferson County.
The explosion happened Thursday morning outside of Innovative Energies in Cedar Hill.
The State Fire Marshall's office is investigating what caused the blast.
"There was a fire but we're not sure at what sequence, whether the fire occurred first and then the explosion, or the explosion and then the fire," said Terry Soer, Cedar Hill fire chief.
The condition of those injured has not yet been released.
