Columbia, Mo. – Former Governor Roger Wilson is gubernatorial candidate Claire McCaskill's choice to head the Missouri Democratic Party.

Word on the decision comes from the party's new executive director, Corey Dillon.

Wilson will succeed May Scheve Reardon, who's resigning.

Reardon served as Governor Holden's choice to lead the party.

But McCaskill is in charge now, after defeating Holden in the primary.

Wednesday she tapped Dillon, who's an aide from McCaskill's state auditor's office.
