St. Louis – A former high school basketball coach from suburban St. Louis is facing more than a dozen charges for alleged sexual activity with two teenage girls.
Brent Michael Woody, 27, coached track and ninth grade basketball at Parkway Central High School.
Both alleged victims were 15 when the crimes occurred. Principal Tim Gannon sent an e-mail to parents informing them of the investigation and urging them to come forward if they are aware of any other allegations.
The Parkway School District says the former coach passed background checks before he was hired.
Woody is jailed on $50,000 cash bond.
