St. Louis, MO – The Internal Revenue Service may be looking for you, but not to worry. The revenue service says 96,792 taxpayers nationwide, and 1,160 in Missouri don't have their tax refund checks because the IRS couldn't find them.
Missourians are due a total of $716,869.42. Nearly 3,300 Illinoisans are owed more than $2.5 million dollars. The IRS says it can get the checks recut once taxpayers update their addresses. People who haven't received their refund can go to www.irs.gov or can call 1-800-TAX-1040 for more information.
