Keeping Seniors at Home

St. Louis, MO –

The U.S. Census Bureau says 35 million Americans are age 65 or older. By the year 2030, that figure is expected to double, as droves of aging Baby Boomers take over that demographic.

Studies show that as the nation ages, more people are living in their own homes and staying independent longer.

With that ideal in mind, a team of local researchers is studying ways to help elderly residents in one suburban St. Louis neighborhood age in place.
