St. Louis, MO – The McKinley Bridge connecting north St. Louis to Venice, Ill. will be closed after rush hour this evening so Illinois Department of Transportation officials can grind a rumble strip into the center of the bridge.
The safety feature is designed to alert drivers who weave out of their lane on the narrow, two-lane bridge. The work should be finished by 5am June 15
