St. Louis, MO – Of the more than 330 Catholic priests across the country accused of sexually abusing children - six are suing their accusers. Now a Missouri man has counter sued one of the priests. Father Alex Anderson sued Art Andreas earlier this year after Andreas privately reported to the St. Louis Archdiocese that Anderson had abused him when Andreas was a teen. David Clohessy of St. Louis and the National Director of SNAP explains Andreas feels like he has no choice.
While the civil statute of limitation has run out, Andreas' attorney argues the priest's suit revived Andreas' legal opportunity.
