Jefferson City, MO – The Missouri Republican Party has filed an ethics complaint against Secretary of State and Democratic U.S. Senate candidate Robin Carnahan.

In a press release, the State GOP alleges that Carnahan failed to disclose in her financial statements a business owned by her spouse, Juan Carlos Antolinez.

The party's Executive Director, Lloyd Smith, accuses Carnahan of repeatedly failing to disclose Antolinez International Trade over a period of years.

The complaint was filed with the Missouri Ethics Commission and with the U.S. Senate's Select Committee on Ethics.

A spokesman for Carnahan calls the complaint "silly," saying that the company was never formed, even though the business name was reserved.
