Kansas City, MO – A Missouri lawmaker from the Kansas City area is back home after being shot in Iraq.
House Republican Jason Brown, of Platte City, was shot in the lung during a recent patrol near Baghdad.
He says he's looking forward to spending time with his wife and two children, but that he also expects to return to Iraq.
Brown's been on a one year tour of duty there, where he's helped to build roads, bridges, hospitals and schools.
