Mo. Lawmakers Pledge More Money for MAP Tests

Jefferson City, Mo. – Missouri lawmakers say they'll pay for more standardized tests next year.

This year, the state only paid for the math and communications parts of the Missouri Assessment Program tests. Many school districts paid for the science and social studies tests with their own money.

But Tuesday the House Budget Committee added money to pay for the science test, meaning districts would still have to pay for social studies if they want it.
