Jefferson City, MO – Days sought to add the provision to a bill imposing restrictions on billboards advertising strip clubs and businesses that sell adult material.
Supporters of the bill were concerned that Days' broader prohibition would doom the legislation.
After turning down the amendment yesterday, the Senate gave the bill preliminary approval. House members tentatively approved a similar bill on Tuesday.
