Police say woman went on runway and shot at plane

Fulton, Mo. – Police said a woman forced a plane to abort its landing Saturday night when she went onto the runway of the Fulton Airport in central Missouri and fired a gun.

Judy Davis, 69, of Fulton was charged with of unlawful use of a weapon and released after posting $4,500 bond.

Police said they found a loaded .22 caliber handgun in Davis's pants pocket.
Authorities said Davis walked into the terminal and said she was planning to shoot down a plane.

She told investigators she was upset because the plane had repeatedly flown too close to her house.

Federal authorities are helping with the investigation.
