57-year-old Joseph Crenshaw, the founder and CEO of New Frontier Bank in St. Charles County has been reported missing.
No one has heard from Crenshaw since Aug. 2 when he left the bank at about 4:30 p.m.
According to a press release from the bank, Crenshaw's wife, Joan, who also works at New Frontier, came home to find that her husband, along with some of his personal items, were not there.
Mr. Crenshaw had taken his golf clubs, fishing poles and medicines with him, so, the release states, no foul play is suspected.
The release also states that Mr. Crenshaw has had stress-related problems in the past.
"We hope and pray that this was a spur-of-the-moment decision to get away for a few days as a stress reliever and that by calling attention to the fact that we consider him missing, he will contact us immediately," New Frontier Bank president Kris Widenbenner said. "We are also concerned that when he left for whatever his destination, he may have had a car accident and simply could not call anyone the following day to let us know his whereabouts."
Mr. Crenshaw was driving his 2008 4-door maroon Kia Amanti, Missouri license plate #PE8-HW2. Anyone with information on Mr. Crenshaw's whereabouts is asked to contact the St. Charles police at (636) 949-3300.
