St. Louis County Looks to Improve Security

St. Louis, MO – St. Louis County is taking a first step towards having uniform emergency communications. A Council committee is considering the establishment of a commission that would ensure first responders can talk with one another. Currently, each of the county's 92 municipalities applies for its own radio frequency. After the committee makes its recommendation to the full council, it's likely to take about a month to finally pass legislation.
