St. Louis – Home sales in the St. Louis area dropped sharply last month.
Sales figures for July released Tuesday show that sales of previously-owned homes fell 38 percent compared with July of last year.
Nationally, the decline was 27 percent. The drop follows a surge in sales brought on by the federal tax credit for first-time home buyers. That credit expired June 30th.
