U. of Missouri curators release recommended tuition increases

The University of Missouri system board of curators voted today on their recommendations for tuition increases for each of the system's campuses.

KMOV reports the recommended increases for in-state undergraduate tuition as follows:

• University of Missouri (MU): 6.5 percent
• University of Missouri - St. Louis (UMSL): 5 percent
• University of Missouri - Kansas City (UMKC): 5 percent
• Missouri University of Science and Technology (Missouri S&T): 6.5 percent

The required fees are recommended to raise 1.1 percent across all four campuses, the television station reports.
