Late Friday, Trader Joe's announced a voluntary recall of its Salted Valencia Peanut Butter because it may have been contaminated with a rare strain of salmonella that's been making people sick.

Cilantro recalled for possible salmonella risk

A California-based produce wholesaler is recalling more than 6,000 cartons of cilantro - including some distributed in Missouri - after a sample of the product tested positive for Salmonella.

The company says the Food and Drug Administration found the positive result at the distributor level, but the source of contamination is unknown. There are no reported illnesses.

Mo., Ill. part of Skippy peanut butter recall

The company that makes Skippy peanut butter is recalling two of its spreads that may be contaminated with salmonella.

No illnesses have been linked to the recall of the Skippy reduced fat creamy and reduced fat chunky brands.

Unilever United States Inc. did not specify how many jars have been recalled. They are packaged in 16.3 oz. plastic jars with used-by dates of May 16-21, 2012.

American Airlines recalling 200 more former TWA flight attendants

American Airlines is recalling 200 flight attendants who were furloughed from now-defunct TWA in 2003.

American said Friday it also agreed to hire 30 new Mandarin-speaking flight attendants to staff flights to and from Shanghai.

American Airlines recalling 365 former TWA flight attendants

American Airlines is recalling more former TWA flight attendants. U.S. Senator Claire McCaskill says American will rehire 365 of the furloughed employees.

The TWA flight attendants were put at the bottom of the seniority list when the airline was bought out by American. In 2001, American laid off 2,500 flight attendants, many of whom used to work for TWA.
