Development Coordinator, Data Management

This listing will remain open until January 17, 2021.

St. Louis Public Radio (STLPR), a National Public Radio (NPR) member station, is seeking a Development Coordinator to join our nine-person fundraising team. We’re looking for someone who is excited by data, is skilled at database use, understands the importance of excellent customer service, and who is passionate about supporting the station’s public service journalism mission.

The Development Coordinator for Data Management at STLPR helps ensure that contributions made by our donors are managed with the utmost care. This person performs complex data entry, including importing and exporting data used for solicitation and stewardship purposes, and they will work closely with UMSL Advancement staff to prepare and monitor dataflow and reconciliation. They also manage important parts of our fundraising program, including the station's matching gift program.

And while data management is in the job title, the Development Coordinator also serves an important role in the human side of our fundraising operation, exhibiting sound judgment to independently solve problems for donors with the support of the department. We’re looking for someone with warm, confident verbal and written communication styles, which will come in handy when assisting with member stewardship activities like emails, mailings and calls.

If this sounds like you, come join us!

Regular, in-person attendance is typically required, though most staff can expect to continue work from home temporarily due to COVID-19.

Qualifications:

  • Professional experience working with data and CRM systems in a fundraising or related setting;
  • Advanced organizational, time management and task priority skills;
  • Demonstrated technical aptitude and ability to learn new technologies and systems;
  • Ability to exercise sound, independent judgment and use creative problem solving;
  • Experience working in teams to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines;
  • Commitment to valuing diversity and contributing to an inclusive working environment.

The Development Coordinator position is full-time and benefit-eligible. The hourly salary range is $19.23 to $21.63.

The University of Missouri and St. Louis Public Radio are fully committed to achieving the goal of a diverse and inclusive environment that embraces diverse experiences, backgrounds and perspectives with a commitment to freedom of expression. We seek individuals who are also committed to this goal and our core values of respect, responsibility, discovery and excellence.
