Rams' Leonard Little Arrested in North Carolina

By AP/KWMU

St. Louis, MO – Rams defensive end Leonard Little is facing
charges in North Carolina.

Charlotte police say Little was arrested Sunday and charged with making threats and harassing phone calls.

They say his arrest was on a four-year-old outstanding warrant.

They say Little's ex-girlfriend filed the complaint against him for allegedly making a threat after they broke up.

Little was released from custody on Tuesday, after posting a $2,000 bond. His lawyer Scott Rosenblum said the case is groundless.

In June of 1999, Little was sentenced to 90 days in jail, 1,000 hours of community service, and placed on probation
for four years after pleading guilty to involuntary manslaughter in the drunk-driving death of Susan Gutweiler.

Rosenblum said Little has been a model citizen since then.
