St. Louis, MO – After months of cleanup work, Johnson's Shut-Ins State Park near Lesterville, Missouri will reopening Saturday.

In December, an Ameren UE hydroelectric reservoir failed, leveling acres of forest and inundating the park with water and mud.

Sue Holst, with the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, told KWMUs Matt Sepic the basic cleanup of that mud and debris has been the major success story so far.
