ReporterKameel moved from Florida to St. Louis in fall 2015 to join We Live Here. She previously worked for several years as a reporter for the Tampa Bay Times, often investigating racial disparities in law enforcement and city government while contributing to the newspaper’s fashion blog. She ran a storytelling organization and a brunch club for women of color. She’s a Michigan native, a dog owner, a yogi and music enthusiast.
