The Keys And Strings Hour Plus New Music

Jazz Unlimited for Sunday, April 28, 2019, will present “The Keys and Strings Hour Plus New Music.”  The “Keys and Strings Hour,” or jazz without horns, will present compositions of big band composer Thad Jones sung by Judi Silvano and played by the piano trios of Tommy Flanagan, Ray Brown, Stanley Cowell and Hank Jones.  New music will feature the Lewis Nash quintet,  the SFJazz Collective, the Jalem Bhate Big Band, Teri Lynne Carrington, Johnathan Blake’s Trion, Mark Dresser, violinist Richmond Punch, the Hungarian drummer Martin Juhaz, Ben Monder, the Comet is Coming, and vocalists Catherine Russell, Kurt Elling and Holly Cole.
