Jazz Unlimited for April 2, 2017 is “Jazz From London-Part 2.”  A lot of exciting jazz was recorded in London by visiting American and other jazz musicians including British musicians and expatriates from other countries.  We will present music from Duke Ellington’s Third Sacred Concert, John McLaughlin, Keith Jarrett and the Mahavishnu Orchestra, Oscar Peterson & Dizzy Gillespie, Cleo Laine, Quadrant, Stan Getz.

Jazz Unlimited for February 6, 2016 is “The Compositions of Richard Rodgers.”  Richard Rodgers was a composer who wrote over 900 compositions.  Music from his Broadway shows is used in jazz.  His music will be performed on this show by Stan Getz, Ella Fitzgerald, Oscar Peterson, Bill Watrous, Roy Hargrove, Donald Byrd, Pepper Adams, Billie Holiday, the Great Jazz Trio, Gerry Mulligan, Nat Adderley, Sonny Clark, Miles Davis, Roger Kellaway, Red Mitchell. Jazz Unlimited for Sunday, March 8 will be “Jazz Musicians with Long Performance Careers. Part 4.”  Like their classical counterparts, most major jazz musicians have long performing careers.  Jazz musicians who die young are not the norm, but in many cases, it is these musicians we choose to remember.  The last jazz Unlimited show in this series will feature 54 musicians with performing careers of over 50 years.  These musicians include St.
