STLPR Fall Member Campaign Success

Our Fall 2016 Member Campaign concluded on Friday, October 21st, as we surpassed our goal and raised $334,000 from 2,488 donors. The station is proud to announce that this fall’s drive numbers are significant in comparison to recent years. In dollars, there was a 14% increase over Spring 2016, an 11% increase over Fall 2015 and a 16% increase over Spring 2015. In donors, there was a  12% increase over Spring 2016, a 3% increase over Fall 2015 and a 20% increase over Spring 2014. 

We garnered 1,026 first time donors, which is an amazing 41% of all donors, with 80% of those choosing to be sustaining members. The campaign, which began on October 13th, is one of two annual, on-air membership campaigns held by the station.

“We are extremely grateful for the generous support from our listeners as well as those who use our website for important regional news coverage,” said General Manager Tim Eby. “Our donors make it possible for St. Louis Public Radio to serve everyone in the St. Louis community.”

Proceeds from all membership campaigns at St. Louis Public Radio-Quincy Public Radio allow the station to purchase syndicated public radio programs, as well as fund local news production and general station operations.
