There’s no denying it: On the heels of the heat and sun of a St. Louis summer, the fact that cold weather will soon be on its way is already palpable. And the arrival of winter will present new challenges amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Sarah Fentem is St. Louis Public Radio's health reporter.

St. Louis Public Radio’s Sarah Fentem recently connected with a St. Louis University public health expert, Enbal Shacham, in search of guidance on how to prepare. Fentem returned with some great insights and ideas, and on Monday’s show she joined host Sarah Fenske to discuss what she learned.

They touched on finding safe ways to connect in yet another unprecedented season, what to keep in mind about the likelihood of significantly more indoor time and how to approach the prospect of, well, being a bit cold at times in exchange for safer interactions.
